A geek's time to shine

I enjoyed reading this post from the Babylon Bee.  It got me thinking that the coronavirus is a time that IT people are able to show their value.  Everyone who works from home, holds a conference call instead of flying around, or who successfully collaborates on a document, has an IT person to thank for it.  

There is nothing good about a pandemic, and for those most immediately impacted, this is an awful situation.

To every IT person who had to fight to work on a business continuity plan, for every one who had to battle to get VPN capabilities in place, for every one who went the extra mile to get laptops instead of desktops approved, I say thank you.
